Stayed here 3 nights in total, mainly due to closeness & convenience to Termini. Expensive for what you get. There isn't anything very bad about the place but there's nothing really good about it either. Breakfast was not good enough and was really just pastries and a couple of other things which had been out of the fridge too long...

Well situated little 4-room B&B with nice, friendly, helpful staff. We organised a check-in time and arrived with a press of a buzzer outside. Automatic door open, we scampered in to another glass security door which opened to an elevator and stairs. Taking the stairs we arrived at our door which opened to Rose who checked us in, showed us...

We stayed here for 4 nights as a couple on our first visit to Rome, and it was perfect! Extremely comfortable, modern, clean, secure and friendly. It has everything you need for a holiday stay, and the service was fantastic. My first morning waking up in a new city i went for (the delicious) breakfast where i met Martina -...

We stayed at the B&B Roma Cheap & Chic for 2 nights. It was very clean, the staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast in the am was pastries/yoghurt/fruit/tea/coffee/juice. Good start to the day. Close to all attractions and we walked everywhere. However, if not interested in walking, there is a metro station directly outside. Close to grocery stores...

We stayed there for 8 nights and were very comfortable. It is exactly as it says, Cheap and Chic. It is not manned continuously but there was good communication between Daniela and ourselves and she was there to meet us when we arrived. The breakfasts were good, with enough choice and plenty for those with a sweet tooth! There were...

on the morning of our departure we got a call saying our room was not available but that they have a similar one close by. It didn't look like on the pictures so we were disappointed. the guy that showed us the room was totally unfriendly and rude and we felt really uncomfortable. We will definitely not come back to...

The positive points are that: b&b is very new and extremely clean. The location is also great, just next to a metro stop and walking distance from main train station, but in quite a nice area. Negative points: The bathroom is very small and there is not even a shelving or a small closet so you don't know where to...

Myself and my friend stayed here in mid-August. It is a typical Roman B&B being situated on the first floor of an apartment building, the difference being that this is a very modern, clean and most importantly, air-conditioned B&B! I have stayed in Rome before & other B&B's are still literally still in the sixities - decor and cleanliness-wise! The...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
