The Roma Termini Station is just across the street. So since we were travelling via train, this hotel was a good choice! You can go to the airport via this station. They offer free breakfast of croissant and coffee. You just have to claim it at the building right next to it. Some staff were nice and accommodating, but I...

Booked this hotel from booking.com knowing that I shouldn't expect much but leaving out the staff - which was very kind - everything else was terrible. Booked for 4 nights, stayed only for 1 (too tired to search another hotel in the night), paid for 2 due to cancelation policies. The room was small and awful, the bathroom was smelly...

Hotel is nice for a budget hotel. Next to Termini station in Rome. Good WiFi and have laptop in the room to use. It can be a little loud, thin walls. They claim to have a 9:30am check in but didn't have a room available.

As many people have reported, when you get there to check in you are taken to Viennese II building, some 30 meters away. After going up the first building, then going down to the street again and then up the new building, carrying all your luggage, you find yourself in a very poor room worse, than you imagined a "simple...

We had booked this hotel for a 7 night stay in Rome. Although we were not expecting sumptuous accommodations, we were expecting a clean room and to receive what was promised and paid for (through Booking.com). We arrived in the evening and were taken to another building about 2 blocks away. The room was absolutely disgusting - dirty, smelly, room...

They didn't have what was reserved then charged us a "no-show" because we didn't stay. We had a reservation for a queen and single but that evening when we got there we were shown a bunk bed with a single. There was barely enough room to stand between the beds. We told the night manager that wasn't acceptable and we...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
