We stayed for a short city break. We arrived at a turn of the last century apartment block and rang the bell, we went up in the lift to the top floor when we arrived at this quirky hotel that occupies the roof and top floor of the block. Our room wasn't quite ready so we were welcomed on to...

Only 7 rooms which makes this Hotel a very personal and charmig place. Nice little Balcony facing Roman ruins. The service was great and the Roof terrace with 2 jacuzzis was perfect! Location could not be better in Rome. Near to everything. 5 min to Pantheon and Piazza Navona for example. After a long day out we were offered coffee...

Excellent boutique hotel in the center of Rome. Every special attraction within short walk. Great value and service. The manager, Jolwin is awesome. The same for the room keeper Janina. I will definitely visit again. The rooftop breakfast area is awesome. Two jacuzzis to relax in. Very well appointed.

I spent two nights recently in Rome and found the duty manager howling to be extremely accommodating and the layout of the roof terrace breakfast and jacuzzi areas ( two) to provide a welcome area to revitalise after many hours exploring the city on foot, all of which I could reach easily from this central location. My only suggestion would...

The hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance to everything. We were in room 5...this is a small boutique hotel with personalized service. Jowlin is so wonderfully helpful and kind. He is there from morning till night simply to accommodate guests. The rooftop terrace is quite a lovely place to enjoy breakfast. That includes, typically, breads, yogurt, ham, cheese,...

The Relais Badoer is a little gem of a place! We had a lovely time here on our 3 day break, we could not fault the location or the staff. We walked everywhere as all the sights are all within a stones throw. We would definitely return here, it was perfect, but I will say the noise from the reception...

Beautiful Hotel, with friendly staff that couldn't do enough for us. They even dressed our daughters bed with balloons and banners for her 8th Birthday. This hotel is a the most central location to views all the main sights in Rome, there is definitely NO need to buy bus tickets if your staying here. The jacuzzi on the top of...

We stayed here a year ago to celebrate my 30th birthday and all I can say is perfect. We went in February 2015 and enjoyed relaxing evenings in the hot tub with a glass of bubbles after long days sightseeing. The room was lovely with wonderful views and an amazing shower. Breakfast was served on the roof top and nicely...

Staying in Ghetto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigbourhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighbourhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.

“There are only about 5 rooms and I think all are good. One is a little small and if there is no one else there they will put you in one of the larger ones. We stayed one night in the smaller room but they moved us into a larger one when it was available. (their suggestion not ours) which we appreciated. There is a larger one upstairs which accommodates families I think.”
