The location was great for us - long walk to the Vatican and easy walk to the train station and the Colesseum. The hotel provided late check in instructions. Everything was clean and in working order. The communal kitchen area was nice to have with drinks and breads available all day. Breakfast did not start until 0730 but our tours...

It is a very small hotel. ….feel like home, perfect location…. It closes to everywhere. Big and clean room and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is really tasty with a wide variety of things. Always bottled water, fruit juice and coffee, nice to relax on the terrace after a busy day. The staff are very great - Andrea...

Amazing staff, super friendly and attentive. The lady that helped during breakfast and during all our stay was the most sweet attentive and lovely person. Room and bathroom comfortable, clean and BIG. Love the shared kitchen to have something to drink during the day, and at night. We arrived really late at night and Andrea contacted us to explain us...

A fairly simple B&B in a fantastic location - less than 10 minutes' walk from Pzza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, Pantheon - just about anywhere central in fact. Very friendly and helpful owner. Very comfortable and clean. A real gem, we will be going back!

It was actually the great experience! Excellent location with walk availability of the most great places of Rome. Very friendly hosts! Andrea and Giorgio arranged our transfer from and to Fiumicino. Good facilities and feeling of being home every night when getting back from our walks. Fruits, water, bakery for free 24 hours a day. I would strongly recommend the...

First stayed here in September 2014 and it was great to be back. Once again, Andrea arranged our transfer from Ciampino airport and both times we have found the service to be far more personal and professional than we have experienced anywhere else. We arrived in Rome in the evening and hadn't expected to see the housekeeper until breakfast the...

We were really surprised at the professional approach of this facility. They arranged a personal pick up at airport for the same price as a taxi fare. The room was very spacious with great view over ruins, breakfast was adequate and we could avail ourselves of fruit, water, coffee etc during the day as we went from day shift to...

Staying in Ghetto

Neighbourhood Profile
The mini-neigbourhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighbourhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
