It is a nice, cozy hotel,a bit small, but people were polite, very kind. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were really great. The location is not the best.It is close to the center, but the area near Termini station is a bit frightening at night. The breakfast was a bit poor and every morning the same.he pillows were really great. It was very clean and...

Room was very big and neat, with a nice view and a good wifi connection. However at times there may be a lot of noise from the neighbors and the heating did not work. I would not recommend the breakfast, the €5 really isn't worth the small & untasteful meal. The staff wasn't really helpful, hardly said anything when we...

Wasn't in the nicest of neighbourhoods, rooms very basic, hardest bed ever slept on. Choice of scary cage lift or 5 long flights of stairs to reception! And reception staff tried to book a taxi to airport for us for 55 euros when the city guidelines are a set 30 euros for airport taxis.

The location is great. 3 min from the subway and 1 stop from the central station if Rome. Amazing looking building on the inside with an old (authentic) elevator. I loved it. The hotel is on the 5th floor. No complaints about the room. Everything was good and as expected from a 3* hotel.

The Hotel is nearby the metro station. Not far away from main train station and walking distance to colloseum. Take a room facing to the park ! People are friendly there. The elevator is amazing for kids . A bit difficult with luggage, because hotel is in the upper floors

Short walk from the Colosseum and other historic sites, easy acces to the Vatican City via nearby Metro station. Not too expensive (for Rome), although breakfast is not included. Nice view to the park from some rooms, but quite some traffic noise if you like sleeping with windows open. Wifi coverage varies greatly depending on which room you get.

At the metro station, but you can walk to a lot of places. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is small, but more then enough(€5,00) Room with view at the Parc. If we go back to Rome we definitely go back here. WiFi included, and always good service.

This hotel was a great place to stay in Roma. The room was clean, had AC, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed and pillows, clean linens. Great price also (for Roma)! We were a 15 minute walk from the Colosseum. We actually walked everywhere in Roma. Vatican city was only 5.5 kms from hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff with any...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
