This small hotel is a typical Italian small hotel with a very friendly and welcoming feeling. The rooms are small but not tiny and very comfortable. (I was there for a week.) My hosts at the university arranged for my stay here and it is a place used a lot by the psychology department at Sapienza University. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (7:30-9:30 AM) is very good. It is a cold breakfast buffet with lots of variety and freshly made coffee drinks are available from the hotel bar. (These are also available at other times.) I probably will stay here again on future visits.

This hitel was all we expected for this price range and more. It was so clean- i usually dont notice such things, bit in this case it was clean like i’ve never seen before- not even in 5stars hotels you dont get a bathroom spottles. And we loved the breakfast, all things were bought in storz or pastry, so the products were really tasty. The breakfast staff was amazing, so quick, professional and helpful. Also the front desk, always calm and welcoming. We had z room with z view on San Lorenzo square and it was really great, we could just sink in the Roman atmosphere (partying at the square megically transforms into market during the day). I would definetly go there again.

We booked two rooms at the Laurentia and was somewhat disappointed with the size of the rooms and the fact that the beds in both rooms were quite uncomfortable. The breakfast was ok and the staff friendly. The location is not far from the train station but some areas seem somewhat shady.

Avoid this hotel. Do not book. Despite ambient room temperature of over 26 degrees C owner refuses to activate A/C despite advertising climate control when booking. Staff is helpful but are unable to make anything happen. I’ve are checking out tomorrow and will deduct an amount for services not rendered.

We have to sleep with window open. Square with terraces directly below (no sleep before 2am), Italian cleaning services starting at 6:30 am (no sleep when they sweep the street and empty glass containers….).

Was a little worried this hotel would be too far out from all the sites. It really wasn’t. We walked everywhere. Even from the hotel to the Vatican. From the moment we arrived to when we left the hotel staff were amazing, breakfast was a continental mix of everything we needed. The staff gave tips and checked we were all okay. Even teaching us Italian. The room was cosy but had everything we needed and was very clean. Cleaned every day and a great temperature. The restaurants near the hotel were also very nice and perfect when we didn’t want to stroll too far away in the evening. Thankyou for a lovely stay

The warmest of welcomes from the Concierge set the tone for a most enjoyable stay at the Hotel Laurentia. My room was bright, clean and spacious and the bed was super-comfortable. Breakfast each morning was enjoyed and appreciated. The hotel is an easy walk from Termini train station or about €11 by taxi and is well located for exploring the wonderful city of Rome. I'll be back to Rome and back to the Hotel Laurentia.

I appreciate their hospitality! I stayed in this hotel for about a week and enjoyed my time :) Staffs were very friendly and helpful, especially receptionists. The room was clean & silent so after a day full of activities I could sleep well! The only matter that I wasn't happy about was the internet... it was weak and I couldn't have any video calls without interruption. Hope the hotel manager fixes this matter as soon as possible.

The staff of the Hotel was very kind and helpful. The location of the Hotel is really really good. It is close to the Termini station even though there are a lot of homeless people in the way to the station. But it was ok. The bus station is close to the Hotel as well, so you can choose to use the bus if you want. There were a lot of beautiful restaurants, coffee shops, markets nearby. It was very very good location. Personally we loved it. The breakfast was good. It was the same breakfast, but we were there only for 2 days so not sure if they change it or not. The rooms were okay. Didn't like the pillows as much but generally it was ok. Would recommend!

Dear 403irenag, It's great to hear that you had a positive experience at the hotel! The staff was kind and helpful, which is always appreciated when traveling. The location of the hotel was also a standout feature, with its proximity to Termini station and many nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and markets. It's good to know that there were alternative transportation options nearby, such as the bus station. The breakfast was enjoyable, even though it was the same each day, and the rooms were comfortable, although the pillows could have been better. Overall, it seems like you would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a great location and helpful staff. Kind regards, Leandro Assistant Guest Relations Hotel Laurentia - Rome

Our hotel can be reached in less than 10/15 minutes on foot from Termini station, La Sapienza University: 5 minutes on foot, CNR (National Research Council): 5 minutes on foot, ISS (Italian National Institute of Health): 5 minutes on foot.
