I stayed here for one night on a day and a half trip to Rome. I thought the hotel was very nice and the prices very reasonable for what you typically find in a big city. The staff was generally friendly but I felt there were a couple that could have been a tad bit more outgoing and willing to...

We have just returned from a 4 night stay here and the hotel didn't disappoint. It is excellent value for money and we certainly did not feel cheated by anything for the price we paid. There is a very good choice for breakfast, it is spotlessly clean and lovely and warm! Small disappointments were no tea/coffee facilities in the room...

We were there for four days during Christmas. We had a 4 bed room, which was not that big but very clean and warm. The breakfast was relatively reach, having all the necessary things. The staff was friendly and helpful when we wanted something. The lobby is small so you cannot seat and relax there for a while. The location...

My husband and I spent 5 days at this hotel in mid November. I don't understand why there have been bad reviews as we had no issues whatsoever and found nothing wrong. The hotel is quite close to most of the attractions. Yes we had to walk quite a bit to see everything, but Rome is a city meant for...

Lovely hotel in a good position .our room was spacious and beautifully furnished - wonderful ceiling!- Breakfast had lots of choice and was good quality. The staff were excellent when my husband's mobility scooter broke down a mile from the hotel , they got the shuttle bus to go and pick him up ! We would definitely recommend this hotel...

We really enjoyed being in a quiet hotel that was reasonably central (for Rome) and well priced. Great breakfast buffet that was freshly cooked and nothing too much to ask from the kitchen. Reservation and desk staff were polite and efficient and room cleanliness second to none. Would thoroughly recommend the Hotel Principessa.

Stayed there 2 nights and the clerck who checked us in was the rudest person I have ever met. HE was impatient with everyone. Dear Guest, we are sorry to know that you have not appreciated our hotel. We have to say that our position is really favorable, because in the center of the city, as you say, close to Via Veneto, one of the most important in Rome... where prices are, as one can suppose, higher than average... we apologize for any inconveniences...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
