We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Albergo Ottocento. Very close to Spanish Steps and other sites. In great area of Rome. Rooms are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. The free breakfast has lots of choices and lovely coffee drinks, Highly recommend this hotel and I find it a excellent value.

To find a very good small size 4*hotel in Rome is a bit of a gamble. This hotel is an Oasis located down a quiet side street off the piazza Barberini. The sights are in easy walking distance including the Trevi, Pantheon Piazza Novona and the Spanish Steps The Metro is close by and bus stops to go out further. The hotel...

So when we arrived at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised at how pretty the external looked with the lovely Christmas lights and with it being tucked down a side street we were thinking it would be nice and quiet.. we got to our room and it was clean but small and very very warm! There was no way of...

The Albergo Ottocento is a very pleasant hotel near the Trevi fountain. They have very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, terrific breakfast and in a quiet street. The hotel is very near to buses and metro.

We enjoyed our stay. They sent a driver to meet us st the airport. We had a nice room. Great location near Via Veneto and Spanish Steps. Subways nearby. The desk staff went above and beyond to assist us with restaurant ideas and directions to places of interest

Lovely clean and friendly hotel. They couldn't do enough for us. Beautifully clean, with such friendly staff, in a fantastic location. 5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, 10 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. Hop on bus stop also only 5 minute walk. We loved our long weekend away here and can't wait to go back.

We thought this was more of a good three star rather than a four star hotel. Nevertheless, it is a friendly and well run place, our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was more than adequate. The location is great, very close to Via Veneto and Piazza Barberini and less than 10 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps....

Ok we booked this hotel for two reasons [1] location and [2] price. That said the hotel is really a 3+ star hotel and not a 4 star in that the room we were given was small - my wife & I had to allow one to pass between the furniture. Also the room was in need of touch ups...

We ended up at the Albergo Ottocento by accident. Our original hotel did not honor our reservation. After we tried a few hotels via phone while at the airport in Chicago a friend of ours in Rome found this one for us. We arrived and could not have been treated with more warmth and kindness. The rooms were comfortable enough...

Stayed here with my girlfriend in September 2016. A wonderful little hotel one block off Piazza Barberini. Entrance is actually on a quaint little cobblestone alley. Our room window opened up onto the alley from the 2nd floor. Very quaint and rustic. Not to mention romantic (per my girlfriend) Room was well appointed with nice wood trim, comfy bed, desk,...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
