Orlanda was a relatively easy and comfortable experience without many complications, just what I wanted for a quick one-night stay, leaving in the morning. I chose it for its proximity to the train termini and price. Finding the hotel address from the train station was easy, but finding the actual hotel was troublesome. The address is the same for multiple...

We arrived at the Rome Termini in the evening, and needed a small place near the station for the night, before moving on the next day. Orlanda Hotel, a mere 5 minute walk from the station, is a nice, clean, efficient place that exceeded my expectations. the room was big, the shower was nice. I could even see myself staying...

The hotel is extremely conveniently situated near Termini station, literally 5 minutes on foot. The windows work wonderfully in isolating from noise, so it is very quiet at night despite being so central. Bed comfortable, rooms very clean, wifi efficient. Very corteous staff, pleasant breakfast, and free coffee and croissants in the afternoon. If you want a good dinner, just...

Hello, we recently stayed at the Hotel Orlanda in Rome for 3 nights as part of a 10 day trip. The hotel is conveniently located in the hub of the city with plenty of restaurants and sites within walking distance. It's located on the 3rd floor and has a small working elevator. Our room was set up for a triple...

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Orlanda. It is located in an old building very close to the Termini. Yes, the elevator is small. Yes, the rooms are not luxurious and not huge. But the price was very very reasonable and when you compare Orlanda to other 2 star hotels with this price range in other major...

The hotel is on the third floor of a large building with a courtyard. You may wonder what you signed up for when you see the tiny elevator, but it somehow is adequate. The bathroom was updated and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have a fridge and cable tv with a large number of...

What a nice surprise we had! Don't let the exterior of the building that hotel is in fools you. The building and the courtyard looked old and not well kept but the hotel was totally different. My DH and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights 3 weeks ago. Location: The hotel is 2 blocks away from Termini train...

This hotel is spotless very clean in a great location. Room was very small and basic elevator is tiny but worked well. We left early so they'd didn't have breakfast ready. Fast checkin with helpful front desk person.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
