I believe that this hotel has been closed for quite some time and I do not understand why it is still on many web sites. When it was open I visited it around half a dozen times and found it to be excellent for the price paid with a great location and reasona ble breakfast. It still appears on various...

The greatest advantage of Marconi is that it is located 1 minute walk from Termini station, from there you can catch all kinds of transportation and go anywhere you like. This way you can save time from unnecessary transports. The room was clean and big and the staff helpful and polite. The only negative was that the breakfast area was...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days. the room was very clean, the breakfast was good. There were many kind of sweat muffin, yogurt. the staff was very friendly, especially blue-eyed woman, the hotel's location was perfect, you can reach everywhere in roma easily. The only bad thing about the hotel; some dangerous people were strolling aroun the hotel in the...

The hotel is in desperate need for a complete renovation. The bed sheets looked clean but were ripped, the bathroom towels were ripped too and had hair all over them. The bathroom was filthy and nothing seemed to work properly: the basin and the shower drains were clogged, the wc was clogged and the flush was weak and uneffective. Dust...

Good for a short break - basic, but very clean and comfortable with a nice ensuite with plenty of hot water for a bath. Good selection at breakfast. Friendly & helpful lady on reception (man seemed a bit more grumpy though!) Excellent location. No communal areas of bars, but rooms OK size & have fridge and kettle. No view, but...

Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is pretty good, location is perfect for public transport (Termini station, metro, buses, trams, etc). Definitely one of the better choices if you want to be near Termini, and great value off-season. Gets pricey in the summer though.

I booked this Hotel because of it's close proximity to Termini train station. It was easy to find, and had a few places to eat close by. The room was large, clean, and reasonably quiet. Bathroom was also clean, and we had plenty of hot water. Staff where pleasant, and helpful. Overall, I could recommend this Hotel, and would use...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
