The rooms are tiny, no place for luggage.. The elevator is too small and you can't use it with your luggage.. The location is perfect, close to everything: shopping, restaurants and bars in the area. However it's located inside a residental building and it's hard to find it or park near the hotel.. The staff is helpful and friendly.. gave...

What a great place to stay! It's in the heart of Rome just a couple blocks from the Trevi Fountain, so it's centrally located no matter where in Rome you want to go. It's also close to the metro and bus lines. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable and they offer necessities like laundry service. The breakfast was always...

Nice spacious room and extraordinary customer service by the owner. We were a family group of four adults and one teenager; stayed one night here after four nights at another guesthouse and really noticed the difference in the details in the rooms and service. Breakfast was an extraordinary italian breakfast and Alexandre the owner provided superb personalized attention. A great...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying with Alessandro and Elyssa when we were young and childless 13 years ago and decided to return last week with our three children for the time in all those years. It is small (number of rooms) hotel but well-appointed, reasonably-priced and well-located in Rome, not far from the Barbarini subway stop. You can walk almost anywhere. The best feature is the staff headed by husband-and-wife Alessandro (native Italian) and Elyssa (originally from Chicago). who own and operate the hotel. Breakfast is included and features fresh baked goods everyday, courtesy of...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Daphne is a unique way to stay in Rome: We combine elegant accommodations at affordable rates, with a highly personalized service, to provide you with a more complete travel experience. Daphne is just what a top-notch, urban, B&B ought to be: spotless, air-conditioned rooms, really comfortable beds, and a great location -- right in the historic center of Rome, just minutes on foot from the Trevi Fountain. You will find fresh fruit and pastries with your coffee in the morning, wireless Internet service, a cell phone to use during your visit with us, and plenty of advice on where to go and what to see in Rome. We focus on customer service, not on expensive lobbies and unnecessary extras. Daphne Trevi is on a quiet side street, about 2- minute's walk from the Barberini metro stop, and 5 - minutes' walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. There is wonderful shopping and dining nearby. Please be aware that the facilities are 100% non-smoking. ... more   less
