I'd like to point the niceness of the staff before complaining - not everything was bad. But you can hear people shouting and massive vibrations of the music coming from the club downstairs until 3am on weekends. Lots of drunk, annoying people in the stairs, really feels like a youth hostel vibe. Then, noise starts early IN the hotel, with...

Location is great on Via Palestro just a few min. walking from the Termini train station (also where the buses from the airports arrive) so access is very easy. For the price ($27 USD for a double room in January) the room was comfortable (good bed) and bathroom nice. Only drawback is that Yellow Hostel's bar (YellowBar) is located on...

I was studying abroad in Rome for a semester from August to December 2014. My fiance surprised me and during the end of my semester, and this is where we stayed. It had a cozy bed, good TV, and was very private. We only slept there because we were out exploring Italy throughout the entire day! There is a hostel...

Room was clean and tastefully decorated. Slightly unusual arrangements reception was in a different building to where we stayed. Above a backpackers so a bit noisy if you are wanting a quiet stay. I would recommend this place to others, close to the main termini.

Overwhelmed by the facilities and amenities (the offer was not even mentioned) - were both single, large bathroom with a bidet, and free WIFI, a front side of the building., Daily room cleaning. quiet, clean, nice, tastefully decorated. convenient location - easy walking of cultural objects.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“A great, peaceful rest a couple., Eating can be arranged room, heated. Give a kettle, free WiFi, just pick up the computer. 0 floor in loud youth club but it did not prevent the double windows sound and light insulation- to street go Numbers 22. and 23.
