It's a small place that is very clean and affordable and only a 2min walk away from the next metro station - just one stop from Termini. The beds are not really confortable but it's enough for a city trip. The rooms have a nice bathroom and a small balcony. The real highlight is the Italian breakfast on the roof...

The staff was really helpful throughout our stay. The previous time they had sweet bread for breakfast on Easter, really tasty cappuccino. The bar downstairs could get quite noisy, so it`s a good idea to choose a room facing the inner garden. It`s peaceful and offers a nice view. Really nice terrace for breakfast. Room was clean with comfy beds,...

We stayed for 4 nights in this great, little, cheap hotel. The room we had was on the top floor facing away from the street and was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Great hot shower, clean towels every day and beds made. Take your own shower gel and shampoo as those provided were ok but I'm fussy. No kettle in...

Pros: Very close to train station and all the sights Very clean Lady in breakfast bar was very friendly Bed really comfortable Cons: When we first arrived, the gentleman behind the counter was unhelpful and told us to cancel our booking. Stayed here in February. Good location very close to termini. Clean room small but functional bathroom,no view from windows just looking onto the back of a restaurant. Very noisy from the activities from restaurant, bottles being stacked into crates etc. Decent italian breakfast of cornetti, coffee and bread. Very miserable staff.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
