This clean and friendly hotel made our short visit in Rome to an apertizer. The friendly staff helped us in picking out the raisins of the town. Both Fransesca and Franco made us feel secure and welcome. We´d like to come back, soon!

I love ALL reviews, even the very few nasty ones, but this is one of my favourite ones. It really makes me happy to know that I have made my guests feel secure through our advice and assistance. We don't just rent rooms....

3 or 4 blocks away from St Peters. Located literally at top of subway entrance/exit. Safe, clean, great location. A bit noisy outside but overall a great budget value. We travel a lot in order to do so we need budget accomodations.

Grateful for the review; we are in no way luxurios; no jacuzzies. We cater for the savvy Roman visitor. For those who are on a budget, and yet wanting to visit easily all corners our Eternal City ! For those who want comfort, but dont care about room service, fancy furniture, and 24/hr room service. For those who want a...

We enjoyed our stay at the San Pietro Rooms very much. Although the accommodation is not luxurious, it is comfortable and clean, and in a fantastic location only a few hundred metres from the Vatican, and 10 minutes on the Metro, which is right outside, from all the other big attractions. Staff were very attentive and helpful, and recommended the...

We really thank our guest for this review. Let me confirm we are a far from luxurious two-star hotel, and we strive to be the best value for money as possible providing basic but clean and functional rooms at the best price possible. I think this is essential in these times of crisis. While making your decision remember that we...

After looking at many hotels in Rome I booked a room here. Compared to other hotels in Rome the San Pietro rooms are very reasonably priced. I could not fault the room cleanliness. Quite good sized room but very small shower room. Traffic noise was quite loud until midnight. Breakfast was very basic, tea or coffee with croissant and a...

I thank our guest for this kind review. He's really got the point ! We are a no-frills, excellent value hotel, right in the middle of where a visitor wants to be to efficiently see Rome. You can do away with expensive taxis, bus waiting; just get to most places just by walking. Public transport is right nearby anyway. As...

I've just returned from rome this weekend and had such a lovely time there, I really can't wait to go back and would definately stay again! I stayed here with my boyfriend and when we arrived the owners were very friendly and spoke excellent english so very helpful in turn. We paid eighty quid for two of us, and at...

We thank our guest and reviewer. We hope to have them again very soon. For all our readers please note that our guest paid a very low rate because of the autumn low season. November to January is probably the best value for money period, to both grab a rock bottom rate and make the best of a less-crowded queue-les...

My friends and I actually ended up staying in this hotel after there was a glitch with our other hotel at the last minute (only 4 days before going!). We were slightly wary due to the fact that the hotel still had vacancies at a good price so close to our travel date, but we had no reason to worry....

Strongly recommend fellow travellers to stay at this hotel. It is close to the vatican, The staff are very friendly and provided all the necessary information. I can name carlos and another italian gentleman at the reception who went out of the way to spend time with me advising me on other destinations i could travel to in italy. Also...

Great staff, english speaking, 24/24 reception, 1'rst floor, lift. Room very clean, quiet, boulevard view, shared bathroom very close, daily cleaning, lcd ~ 36" tv many satelite programs, frugal but delicious breakfast: excelent coffe, milk, tea pastries, sealed toasts and jam. The greatest advantage is the location, at about 8-10 meters from Ottaviano Metro A station exit, and about 250...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
