Beautifully decorated bed & breakfast close to the Vatican and piazza Navona. Fast wifi, clean rooms and private bathroom. If I could suggest an improvement, that would be the change of the old uncomfortable mattress, and some filtered coffee and fresh bread added to breakfast. No need for so much packaged super marker products in such a pretty kitchen.

We stayed here twice during our voyage in Italy. We spent 2 nights at the beginning of the trip and 2 nights at the end. The owners were not on-site often, but were available by phone quite easily. They made some good recommendations for places to eat that were nearby. Having access to a fridge and kitchen is a plus,...

I think Serafino is a very great B&B. Very good situation, quiet room, clean, good bed. I felt like being at home. Wifi worked perfectly. Surroundings was great, Vatican few steps away. Also Castel S'Angelo. Easy to move by bus or metro. Also felt safe, though walking alone in the evening. I hope to be back some say. Regards to...

Many good things to say about the place. The only bad thing was that it was difficult to spot on the street and with luggage it was a tricky walk from the metro. However, when I finally found the building I was blown away from the moment I stepped into the lobby. It isn't modern or fancy, in fact it...

Great B&B with the Vatican at your doorstep. Didn't see much of the owner & he seemed quite rushed when I arrived. He wasn't happy I arrived 30mins after I said I would, but I spent 45mins on the street trying to find the place. He did say then that it was difficult to find & many people had the...

It was first time we stayed in B&B. It was better than expected. Very good breakfast! Nice owner. We didn't often saw our neighbors. The room was large and furnished with authentic old-fashioned but really nice pieces. Bathroom large and comfortable.

We stayed in the B&B for 3 nights and we really enjoyed it. The hostel is just few steps from the St. Peter's Basilica, less then 15minutes walking to Piazza Navona, 5minutes to Castel Sant'Angelo- really great location. The rooms, bathroom and kitchen are clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast ( there were even eggs in the fridge so you...

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
