I am wringing here now 1 month after our 1 night stay in this so called "4 STAR" hotel delle province. First of all, nice location close to metro Bologna. room is ok, clean and nice except to the noisy "fan- ish" air-condition in the room. Buffet breakfast is great but the 2 waitresses are annoying! Not smiling with the...

Dear Mr Santos, we are very surprised to receive your feedback!!!! At the middle of last week, you have contacted us regarding your charge of Euro 99,00.It was a mistake of the receptionist working during the night. In half hour we have resolved your problem, contacting our bank and cancelling that operation. We are very sorry for this mistake, we asked...

This hotel was a disappointment, perhaps because it was last stop on a two week trip and the other hotels were great. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good but over all the beds were uncomfortable and the was not overly clean.

Staff v friendly and helpful. Room was lovely. Minibar prices v reasonable. No real bar area in the hotel as such but theres a nice patio around the back where you can bring out a drink. The selection of breakfast items wasnt to our taste. So much sugar.... overall i would definitely recommend.

Hotel located near the center of Rome. The metro station is 5 minutes away. We went on August 2016 and it was really cheap to sleep there for three nights. The breakfast isn't the best I've ever seen, but it was ok. Everything is clean. The staff is nice and they even discounted us some euros of the final price....

Not a bad little hotel, ten minute walk to nearest metro station taking you to all the sights you need to see. Continental breakfast but something their to break the fast. Very hot so nice air con in the reception and in the room, ours was on 5th floor and was quiet enough for a good nights sleep. Friendly staff...

Nice hotel , clean comfy rooms , pleasant staff , reasonable bar prices , continental breakfast only , some distance away from noise and bustle of Rome but only a 5 minute stroll to Bologna tube station and then only 10-15 minutes to centre

Rooms weren't really clean, especially the bathroom. Beds were hard, but that's a personal thing. Breakfast was a litlle poor, missed an egg and some tomatos. Coffee was good, and so was the fresh honey! Distance to citycentre is perfect, in 15 minutes your at the colloseum! Staff was really friendly and helpfull! Not the best hotel ever, but good...

Spent a long weekend here, only 10min walk to local metro where 12.5E buys you 48hrs. First visit to Italy & Rome is amazing, you walk around an unassuming corner & bang, something else takes your breath away. The hotel provides an ideal base, friendly helpful staff, nice room, good shower, supermarket across the road, plenty for breakfast including fresh...

Well, this hotel cannot be classed as 4 star, anymore, it might have been so sometime, but not now. I'd put it at lower three. It is located in a rather boring area, Not a lot happening close by. We got a room on the bottom floor, only a small window close to the ceiling. Bathroom had slight black mold in...

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
