This hotel is great for location and to get around, friendly staff who will help you out if need to get somewhere. There are bars right at your door step who are more than accommodating. A supermarket round the corner where you can get pretty much everything and anything you need and the staff are really nice.

Location was very good as it is just a five-minute walk from the massive Rome railway station (only make sure you take the RIGHT exit). I would not hesitate to book this hotel again when in Rome as everything from check in to check out went so smooth and had very good restful nights in a small but comfortable room...

Stayed there for 3 nights, and really wasn't overly impressed, our room was reasonably clean, attention to detail could have been better, bed was fairly comfy and extra pillows provided, breakfast was OK apart from boiled eggs being green inside, but on the plus side staff generally friendly and great location for all transport links also within walking distance to...

Having arrived at the hotel by our transfer quite late, we were exhausted and just wanted to get to bed. However, on entering the reception area there was no sign of the receptionist let alone a member of staff. To the left, we found a sitting room area where a casually dressed man slept on the sofa with 8 empty...

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. It is an easy, quick walk from the train station in a good neighborhood. The hotel is decorated with old world charm. The front desk staff were very friendly and always helpful. I had a single room that was rather small but fine for 1 person. It was on the front of...

Nothing fancy, but it does the trick. If you're looking for something cheap, but very centric this is your place. It's like a 10-minute walk from the Termini train station which is extremely convenient.

The hotel is very nice, close to the central station of Rome (bus, train and metro), has several nice restaurants close by. The breakfast, even though doesn't have fried bacon, have a large variety of exceptional pastries! The only problem with the room we had was the shower cabin. It was very small, impossible to fit 2 people for a...

This is the second time we have used this hotel and again it did not disappoint. All of the staff are very approachable, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and included an electric kettle so you can make our own hot drinks. Breakfast offered an excellent choice of food and there was a very pleasant lounge/bar...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
