We liked everything about this place. The rooms were nice and clean and the services (cleaning etc.) worked nicely. The location wasn't bad either. The owner and stuff were very helpful indeed and as a result we dined in good, but still affordable, restaurants we couldn't otherwise have found and also got instructions to get to the best sights avoiding...

Great location to stay in Rome. The rooms are very clean, air conditioned, and has a daily maid service. Valerio is very good at his job, and is on hand for any queries or information needed. We are offered a limousine service to and from the airport. This was our 3rd visit to Rome, and have always stayed with Valerio...

I stayed at the B&B Calamatta in July 2015 for two nights and enjoyed my stay there. Valerio was able to arrange a private driver to pick us up at the airport, which was very convenient and affordable in comparison to the taxi costs. Service/Food – Valerio was very helpful in helping us plan the best route to see all...

Room was very modern, clean and spacious! When getting to the hotel, Valerio sat down with us with a map and helped us plan our few days in Rome so we were able to see everything we wanted. Overall great place! Only remember to tell him when you are arriving.

Cancelled my original booking for this guest house, and I'm glad I did. Upon arriving we were greeted by Valerio who assisted us with everything we could possibly need. B&B Calamatta is in a great location to walk to all major tourist attractions in Rome. Valerio is very helpful and will point everything out on a map and help you get tickets! The rooms were very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. They provide breakfast, internet, and snacks. Would definitely stay here again!

“B&B Calamatta has a really good location, not being to far from the centre of Rome where the Imperial buildings are, nor from the Vatican, and quite close to a metro stop. When I got to the B & B Valerio greeted me, gave me a map and went through it all in detail, marking good places to eat, things...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
