The hotel has a great location and that is why we chose it,we chose a 4 star hotel but the room is too small and the hotel is noisy.we could hear the breakfast service and th room cleaning very early in the morning.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here during our trip to Italy. We found the hotel to be clean and the service to be very good. The staff was very accommodating to us (allowing us an early check in, providing an iron and extra pillows when requested). The most important things for me when staying in a hotel is... More

This small hotel is well located in Rome--just minutes from the Spanish Steps, the Borghese Gardens and the Palazzo Barberini. If you are a walker you can walk almost everywhere in central Rome from here. Also, lots of great restaurants in the neighborhood. Rooms are small-ish but very clean. The hotel staff was excellent. The breakfast is simple but good,... More

Firstly, the staff made our stay a delight: unfailingly courteous, patient and informative people at the front desk. Well located, close enough to all the major points of interests. A stonethrow from the famous Via Veneto and the gorgeous Villa Borghese, a must with its museum and gardens. A supermarket is also nearby. Only the rather narrow and small room... More

We went to Rome November 2011. I searched for a hotel that is fairly priced, centrally located to the activities we had planned for the 4 days we were in the city. I chose and made my reservation on line. When we got there, I was amazed! I had chosen not only a nice place to stay, but we were... More

I really thought this hotel was great. Excellent location everything within walking distance. Clean, comfortable and with the friendliest staff I have had the pleasure to come across. They were all happy to help regardless of how busy they were or how daft the enquiry was. Good restaurants situated nearby. Nice breakfast. I would definitely go back. Like most european hotels there... More

After staying here for a week, just after the snow hit Rome, we had a great week. Ideally placed for all venues, Spanish steps 10min, Trevi Fountain 15 min, Metro 5min. Hotel has very high standards, staff always helpful, breakfast very good, we are English! Double bedroom big enough, bed massive and shower always hot. Bedroom made up everyday with... More

This hotel was perfect for our long weekend in Rome. It's on a quiet street, but within walking distance of lots of attractions. The free breakfast was good, and while there weren't tons of choices, we ate well. The room was simple, but very comfortable. Everything worked fine, and this hotel was very well-priced compared to others in the area.... More

We really enjoyed our stay here- decent sized rooms, very clean, very comfy. Close to the Spanish Steps (very enjoyable 5 minute walk) Staff were great, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area- highly recommended and well worth the money. breakfasts were basic, but good, plenty of fruit and the coffee was excellent.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
