Well it's definitely not a palace. And 'hotel' is questionable too. I think guest house would be more accurate. My room didn't look like any on their website or on this website. The only photos I recognize are the entrance and the reception desk. The property is undergoing renovation so there was some noise/disturbance from that. Drilling and banging from...

Great value for money in a nice location. Friendly and professional service. Hotel is being refurbished. Our room was already done. Great look and very comfortable. Shower was excellent. Toiletries are bare bones, though. No lotion or hair conditioner. Front desk apologized for this. Breakfast buffet is basic, but good. Cold items only.

Very friendly front office staff. Stayed for 4 nights there. Room very clean and tidy. Of the few hotels that offer a water kettle and ironing board which makes a guest comfy. Not enough sockets in the wall for charging of multiple devices (a family with 2 phones and a tablet would suffer).Breakfast better than many 4 star hotels but...

The last hotel I stayed at in Rome was so small there wasn't enough room for me AND the prostitute. This hotel had enough space. My full sized bed was two twins put together but was comfortable enough. Although the room was opposite the breakfast area I did not hear much noise. The WIFI is spotty and did not work...

The staff were great and very helpful. Bed a little hard for us but room has all you need. It is undergoing renovations but this did not disturb us at all. If we go back to Rome We would stay here again very happily. Being a same sex couple we were a little concerned how they may react to us...

The location is quiet and slightly away from the noisy downtown. It is 10 minutes walk to The Spanish Steps and another 10 to the Trevi fountain. You can also walk to Borghese park and Villa which is only 5 minutes away. Nice small breakfast included and friendly helpful staff. Just a little outdated and the beds and pillows are...

I have stayed on this hotel 5 or 6 times over a preriod of 3 to 4 years. It is obvious then that the hotel is my favorite in Rome. Favorite due to location and given the somehow limited budget (all were businnes trips payed by the company ) it was and still is an excellent choise. And still is...

My husband and another couple stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is quiet and centrally located in a lovely tree lined road close to the Via Veneto and the Trevi Fountain and although it is a busy area, it is relatively quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean & comfortable but we didn't have any views from our...

Superbly located just off Via Veneto, in a beautiful tree lined street, surrounded by upmarket eateries and bars (including the famous Harry's Bar) and walking distance to many attractions and shopping. The Hotel itself is a lovely old world sanctuary to come back to after a hectic days sightseeing. Friendly and accomodating staff. A big thank you for our lovely...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in September this year . I had stayed here 12 years ago and really enjoyed it which was why I went back . What a mistake ! Nothing has been done to the hotel in 12 years . It is in desperate need of a makeover and the housekeeping / cleaning...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
