My husband and I just returned from a trip to Italy and spent 3 nights of our trip in Rome at the Apollo Hotel. First, it was easy to find! A relatively short walk from the Termini station (which is where the train stops from the airport), or an even shorter walk from the Cavour stop (which requires switching trains...

This was the best hotel I stayed at in Rome. Very conveniently located, near the Colosseum. The room was clean, with a lovely marble-accented, spotlessly clean bathroom (usually the mark of a good hotel, in my opinion, is how clean their bathrooms are). The staff were friendly and helpful, and promptly called for a cab to the train station on...

Stayed here for three nights on august. Hotel is in a great location allowing you to walk to all the main attractions, about 500 mt. from Coloseum. Good breakfast being served on the roof terrace. Friendly staff (the owners). Rooms very clean and tidy. We will stay again.

Stayed here for five nights back in October last year. Hotel is in a great location allowing you to walk to all the main attractions and explore, rather than having to rely on public transport. Breakfast of pastries, fruit and cereals etc being served on the roof terrace is a great way to start the day and there are plenty...

We stayed at the Apollo Hotel for 3 nights while on our first trip to Rome. The hotel is in a good location as you can see the Coliseum down the street. It's also walkable from the Termini (Rome train station) or just a short cab ride. The hotel is fairly small, but our room was very nice. The hotel...

My Wife and I had a 5 day mini break at the hotel in April, the Hotel chosen primarily based on the location, reviews and the cost. We were very pleasantly satisfied with the hotel as previous reviewers have already stated that this is a very clean and well managed hotel. The breakfast is the standard continental fare with plenty...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Apollo. The family that operates the hotel is delightful, patient and very helpful! Good, quiet location in the hustle-bustle of Rome. Breakfast on the terrace was very peaceful and nice.

My wife, daughter and I spent a night at the Apollo in April 2007. We booked it from reviews we had read in tripadvisor.com. We were not disappointed. The room and bathroom were clean; the rooftop breakfast garden was quite charming; the staff was very helpful; the cappucino was great! The Apollo is on a quiet street which runs right...

Having received confirmation from the booking service for three rooms for our family of four, we arrived to find only ONE room available. At 10 PM at night, we were on the streets of Rome trying to find a Hotel that had 3 rooms available. The staff simply said there was some 'confusion' about our stay and they tried to...

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the main sights and for its affordability, as my husband and I were travelling to Rome for a three night stay accompianied by my parents, one of whom has some reduced mobility. I was not disappointed - the Trevi fountain was a leisurely 10 minute walk away, and we could see the...
