We had a deluxe room on the second floor. Spacious, clean and quiet. The bathroom was pretty big too. Katy at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The facility is located walking distance from the Fontana di Trevi, and spanish steps in a quiet neighborhood close to via del tritone and a couple of blocks from a metro...

Whole planning my first ever solo trip ,I was concerned about the location, safety, budget and helpfulness of hotel staff.Domus Julia ticked all these boxes for me.Loved it's location in a quiet street with 10 min walk to Fontana di Trevi and Spanish Steps.Pantheon and Piazza Navona a little further ahead but still walkable. Barberini metro station a mere 5 min away.The...

My husband and I stayed here from August 2-6. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the trevi fountain and the metro. A little secluded compared to other hotels on main streets but safe neighborhood. Our room was a double (1bed, 2 ppl) but very small, but I think most European hotels are like this when it's only...

I stayed here for a few days and it was a good stay. It is conveniently located down the street from the Barberini train station and not far from the Trevi fountain which makes it extremely convenient. The hotel itself is old, the room had a wooden ceiling and antiquish furniture - the bathroom though was remodeled everything was very...

I stayed here twice, but I'm not the one who originally found this little jewel. We rendezvoused in Rome for some girl time (with only one off-spring). The rooms are spacious enough for luggage, the staff are accomodating, and the location could not be better. There's a subway stop very near, several small restaurants adjacent and a Bernini fountain on...

Having read TA reviews of Hotel Julia we booked a suite in Domus Julia next door and we were not disappointed. Our room was spacious and elegantly furnished with antique furniture. The bed had a very firm mattress which we found very comfortable.Despite its central location the street is very quiet on a night and affords restful nights' sleep. Added...

We stayed for 3 nights in a triple room which was a good size for 3 adults sharing & bigger than many other hotels we stayed in Europe. Breakfast was served next door in the hotel which was plentiful. The best thing is the location approx 5 mins walk from The Trevi Fountain which if you know Rome makes it...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.

“There are no screens, and if it's late spring or summer you'll have to have the windows open in the early evening. Since there are big streets near, the noise will be audible with windows open. Mosquitos will also be an issue if you open the windows before you turn out your light. There's green coils available in markets nearby, ask for assistance at the desk. NBD.”
