I recently went to Rome for first time and was a little nervous about where to stay as I had heard number of people having some bad experience in and around the city. Hence my top priority was to find a place that was safe...More
Our room was on the ground level. Spacious. Beds are comfortable and pillows are soft. Great for sleeping. Quiet hotel with plenty of space in the centre for hanging out. Breakfast is also good with variety. There was a happy hour between 5:30- 7:30 PM...More
Great location in the heart of Travestere. A perfect stay. Good service, nice people. People are willing to help. Around the corner there are a lot of nice restaurants.
Ideal to take the bike which you can borrow. Room is not too big, but ok....More
Wonderful gem in Rome. Safe area with great cafes and a good walk from many sites.
Staff were excellent and this hotel was one of the best that we stayed at in our 5 weeks in Europe.
One suggestion ony - fluffier pillows!!

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
