This hotel is located between the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. You can buy anything just near this hotel. also good restaurants are located. Hotel staff are very friendly, specially breakfast service staff are fine. I feel, "THIS IS ITALIAN!"

Very pleased with this hotel right next to piazza di Spagna. The room and bathrooms are nice and tidy. The personnel very attentive, nice and supportive. Breakfast was good and various, from sweets to cheeses and eggs. I would suggest to drop by.

This hotel is located very conveniently between the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. I walked, with my luggage from the metro station and it wasn't that bad. The front staff were very helpful; fluent in English and willing to help on anything. One morning he stayed on the phone for 10 minutes to help me get a reservation at... More

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the past 10 years. The front desk staff is still the same, warm, friendly and helpful. The location is great, near the Spanish Steps and a good subway stop. Many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel breakfast is very good, lots of choices, and served in a lovely rooftop room with... More

Hotel Madrid in Rome is a great value for a great location. In between the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain and near the Colosseum and Piazza Navona and more, there is little you could hope for in a hotel when you're in a city like Rome. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean, wifi worked well, and the breakfast on... More

We visited this hotel for four nights. I'll start by mentioning the good points: 1) Service: was brilliant from the reception staff to the staff at breakfast, all were very accommodating 2) Location: perfect as a base in the heart of Rome, just a stone throw away from the Spanish Steps and walking distance from all major attractions The less-good... The location is perfect, we walked to most of the main sites and came back to the room and went out again. Even walked to the Vatican, 30 minutes walk, came back with metro. If you are looking for nightlife like pubs and bars you'll have to walk a lot or take a taxi, the station is a few steps... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
