Lovely little hotel with comfy bed and good hot shower. The roof terrace was very quaint. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is close to amenities. Breakfast was more than adequate. Maybe a little dated but that added to its charm and it was spotlessly clean. I would recommend a taxi to find it but altogether highly recommend...

This boutique hotel has it all. It's the top 2 floors of a building built in 1530. You'll have to go through big green doors to enter the courtyard to get upstairs. If the doors aren't open , just press the buzzer for the hotel on your right hand side. They'll buzz you in. You can take 4 flights of...

Last time I wrote a review of the Hotel Parlamento, I wrote how much it feels like a home away from home, with the warmth and helpfulness of the staff, and how convenient it is to all the major sites in Rome, many within walking distance. I also wrote that it was in the process of being renovated. Well, I...

- Stayed here for 3 nights (Feb 24-27) in room 48, on a short weekend city trip. - Getting there : flew in @ 11 pm with Ryanair (Ciampino) and got an (official) white colour taxi to the hotel for 35 euro ( night rate) right at the taxi stand. - Location : located in the city center, very close...

Excellent staff- with a lot of smile! They gave some good tips where to go to get some nice food. The hotel is located in the city center (next to via del corso) nearby lot of shops, restaurants and main sightseeing points nevertheless rooms are quiet. (Trevi fountain is 10mins by walk)Privat bathroom with bathtube, and towels, hairdryer. Rooms are...

Could not believe my partner when he told me the hotel was a two star. The rooms have been updated since the photos on here, and are lovely, so modern and stylish. Everything was clean. We had a safe, fridge, hairdryer, toiletries etc in our spacious room. We could not hear any other guests or outside noise so enjoyed good...

Yes, bedrooms are small and the bathrooms are small. You can always stay at the Hyatt if you plan to do more than sleep and tend to personal needs in your room. I give this location, location, location a 5 because, well, location. You can virtually walk to most of the sights to see, shop, eat and people-watch from this...

Booked this via booking.com which cites it as a 3* hotel. The plaque out the front, on the lift, and the front door say 2*. Had to ask reception to change rooms immediately because the 1st room they assigned was significantly below the quality indicated in pictures. Even the best available room we then received wasn't like the pictures. Rooms...

We stayed here for 4 nights and were sooo well looked after! Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was quiet, very comfy & good size, and good bathroom with shower and bath. Very central, near to Trevi fountain & Spanish steps, and walking distance to Colosseum etc (Vatican a metro away). Initially surprised to find this was just a...

When I travel, I always ensure that there were tea and coffee making facilities in the hotel room. When I read the trip advisor reviews, there was mention of it and also a room that extends out to the balcony. But not knowing that not all rooms had such tea and coffee making facilities, I opted for the room that...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
