The hotel is located at 4th floor in an old big building. It's got a worn look, but very good beds, service and beautiful breakfast terrace. For the price given it's a good place to stay. Quiet surroundings!

The Nardizzi Americana is actually the top floor of an older building.. One floor down is another hotel. There is an open plaza just outside the elevator where you can purchase a cheap bottle of wine and relax.. This on the top floor of the building. Walking distance to many attractions including the central train station and the Trevi Fountain...

We stayed at this hotel for the duration of 4 nights and overall are satisfied with it. The place is near enough to Termini station, Piazza Republica and Piazza Barberini. The room that was given to us was clean, big enough and with good view. The beds were made each day and the room + bathroom cleaned. Central heating was...

I lived in southern Italy for almost a year, during which I had to regularly commute back to the USA (April 2013 - January 2014) -I stayed here 5+ times -It is small, with a communal bathroom, clean, affordable, and safe (coming from a woman traveling alone) -As with all big cities, especially Rome, the neighborhood around the train station...

This is the forth time I've stayed in this hotel. I love the location but the staff is amazing. I had a health problem while staying there and they went above and beyond expectations and helped me through my troubles. I'll never stay anywhere else when in Rome. Thank you Nardizzi!!

Our family of five stayed here for end of our trip to Italy. The hotel staff is welcoming and friendly. Our family enjoyed everything about this hotel! The style, location, the people, the rooms.... the whole atmosphere was everything we were hoping for. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located near one of the Metro stations, as well as a main street with bus routes. Free breakfast was very great with bid choice of backed goods and unlimited cappuccino. On the down side the mattresses very quite hard and the sleep wasn't restful. For some reason there never was hot water in the shower after...

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel reception is on the 4th floor. (Something new for us!). Room was dark but clean, and had character. Vincent (staff member) couldn't do enough for you. He helped with our next trip to naples and spoke excellent English answering all of our awkward and many questions. Fresh towels and clean room both mornings....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
