I was there for a business trip and I found the place very good because of the location and the view from the terrace. The rooms are not something special but I can advise it because the staff is really polite and the hotel is so clean! If you're planning to go to Rome you have to try it because...

This was just what we needed. Clean room with excellent bed and new modern bathroom Staff extremely helpful, organized airport transfers and let us use the room till mid afternoon, so we could change before drinking to the airport. Otherwise we did not really need anything. Had all meals outside. There is an excellent vine bar in same building, and...

This apartment is fantastic apart from the view out the window (a brick wall) BUT a I never plan to spend time in the hotel room when taking short breaks it didn't bother us at all because the location was next to none, so quaint & traditional. Lovely street markets during the evening & lovely restaurants literally on your doorstep!!...

My son and I stayed in this serviced apartment for three nights. On entering the property the initial impression was disappointing as the accommodation itself was spartan: one single bed and one double bed in adjoining rooms with basic furniture and a small fridge which was, however, thoughtfully stocked with some water and soft drinks. Still, the air conditioning worked...

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was great. They seem recently renovated and were very clean and lovely. Easy check in and out. The location is great with a bus from airport stopping 1 street away and lots of restaurants and bars near by.

If I were to rate this place based on location alone I would give it 5 stars. It is in Trastevere which is full of great restaurants, bars and night life. I loved the bohemian feel of this part of Rome. It was about a 20 minute walk to the Vatican and Colosseum. The views from the river are stunning....

This guest house is perfectly located in Trastevere, an area bustling at night. If you want to enjoy Roman night life and not worry on how to get back to your hotel, this is a great place. It is also really pretty by day and full of history. Our room was perfect for our needs: modern, clean, comfy, functional, and...

Situated in a really beautiful authentic part of Rome. A little outside the center but definitely worth branching out. Still only a ten minute walk to be in the city proper. It is located among lovely Roman cobbled roads with great restaurants lining the narrow roads. There is a nice balcony which is very nice in the evening - with...

Positives first: location, location and location. Located on a delightful square in Trastevere. There's a nice restaurant directly opposite and a good wine bar downstairs. As for the hotel itself, it's not good enough. Having gone to the trouble of texting to inform them when I was arriving, I ended up standing outside with my bags for about 25 minutes....

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.

“Our room faced the Pazza....ideal to view Trastevere life and people watch. I imagine rooms at the back will be quieter but to be honest the Piazza has life below not a 24 hour carnival, so my preference would be at the front.”
