This past summer, my husband and I were blessed with the great fortune of celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and my birthday on a Mediterranean Cruise. We lodged at this hotel prior to going and returning from our cruise. Hotel Farnese was amazing with all accommodations, transportation, amenities, convenience, and breakfast! The staff members were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

My husband and I stayed here just one night passing through Rome but had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very well maintained. Our room and bathroom were both good-sized, particularly by European standards. We did have an issue with the toilet not flushing when we first arrived but they addressed it promptly. The breakfast is really lovely -- eggs,...

I booked this room for my 27 year old son as he was arriving in Rome a day before us. We had stayed at Hotel Farnese about 10 years ago and still had fond memories if it. My son said the staff was so kind, helpful, and pleasant. The breakfast spread was still fabulous. We all love the Prati neighborhood. I...

I was just one night beacuse then I had to go to Termini station. The clean and quiet room helped my night. Very kindly receptionists. Location: when you go out, you are about 30 mt to Lepanto Station Metro A. I advice to all, in patrticular for tourists.

For St.Andrews'Day, my parents gave me a great gift (as always): a vacation to Rome for the whole family. We stayed at Hotel Farnese and we've had a very pleasant time there, mainly thanks to: - the very kind and helpful people in the reception (they helped us every day with taxi orders and city information); - the lady serving...

The hotel is 15 minutes walk from Via Del Corso, the main shopping street and right next to the metro. The style is very classic and Italian, and cozy. The Wi-Fi works very well. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the airport shuttle service is good. Only one problem though : the A/C seemed to always be on...

Last minute booking here due to being cancelled by another hotel that is top rated on trip advisor. A very fortuitous event in the end. Small hotel in an old palazzo with a fabulous rooftop breakfast overlooking St Peters Basilica and the Vatican! Easy walking distance to many areas and underground train station around the corner! Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Farnese. The hotel itself is a 15 minute walk from the Vatican Museum and about the same to Piazza del Popolo. It is a small Hotel and it was quiet despite our window opening to a bigger road. We really enjoyed being a bit further from the crowds of Corso and the Inner...

We spent in Hotel Farnese 7 nights. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. Driver, who took us from the airport, receptionist, who were very kind and helpful, and women from the breakfast room - she had always big smile and she prepared amazing cappuccino! Food was delicious, fresh. Room was clean and every day service cleaned it....

Located on the Vatican side of the Tiber River, Hotel Farnese is a most convenient place to stay when touring Rome. A quick walk to the Lepanto train station, gets you a ride to any major attraction in the city. A 20-minute walk to St. Peters Square lets you spend most of the day touring the Vatican sites. One of...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
