Excellent location in the middle of locals and close to Trastevere & many other key areas. We slept in the annex although we requested a room in the main site. But it was not bad at all. The room was small and clean. TV and air conditioning working. A small fridge would have been useful. The bathroom was ok -...

First time in Rome and several people had recommended we stay in this area, so I went w/ this Rick Steve's recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised by this very nice and simple little hotel. I met my 60ish mother in Rome and we stayed for 5 nights. We did request a room in the main hotel and not the annex...

Just returned from a wonderful vacation in Rome. And I can only recommend Smeraldo Hotel. The location is so great. We were able to walk everythere (yes - my feet really hurts now). There are lot of shops, small cafés and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The Campo de Fiori is only 5 minuttes walk away. The rooms are very small,...

Loved staying here. The hotel is in a great location - very central and we were able to walk everywhere. The rooms were an okay size (we had a triple room) but the bathroom was very small, but we did not consider this an issue. Very clean hotel. Breakfast was simple but more than adequent. I would stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights during our European vacation. It was centralized to the sights. Very cute area. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. It was very clean. We slept well. They had the best continental breakfast of our trip. Would gladly stay here again.

I loved the location of this hotel!! there are many little restaurants, shopping and a market right around the corner. The rooms and elevators are very small. The bedroom, the bathroom is very clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast they provide is very good too.

Since we had very limited time in Rome, it was important for us to stay in close proximity to the sites and hotel Smeraldo was perfect!!! We were able to walk to trevi fountain, the vatican, the colosseum, everything! Plus there is a great coffee shop across the street and the hotel serves breakfast. Although the shower was a little...

GREAT location! We literally were able to walk everywhere because it seemed to be a great "center" spot to the city and attractions. Average room. Uncomfortable beds

Also found a streat market(open early morning with fresh fruits) and a grocery store within 3 mins of hotel.. The...

Neighbourhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city.
