This hotel is in the centre of Trastevere, a great location in a vibrant part of Rome. The area itself is a good choice if you wish to explore Rome as most of the famous sites are within walking distance or if you do not...More
One wouldn't expect too much from a 3 star, however one would expect basic hygiene. If you decide to go to this hotel do not accept any of C1-C5 rooms. They have a window that faces a wet wall. We had room C1 that had...More

Dear guest, thank you for your suggestions, that are very appreciated, but I want to take the opportunity to clarify some important points. Unfortunately the room had a small water fault in the bathroom, that was however perfectly usable . We couldn't change the room...More
My adult daughter and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The location was excellent and we were able to go wherever we chose on foot. (We are walkers!) The nearby squares were interesting and full of restaurants. We found a huge park nearby...More
My husband and I travelled to Rome for a short break and had no idea which district to stay in. After speaking to a colleague at work we opted to stay in Trastevere and we were not disappointed. Location is great and has fantastic restaurants...More
Stayed here in September with my family. Great location close to all the sights of Rome and in a nice non-tourist filled area full of good restaurants and cafes. Our room was a good size with king bed, baby cot (on request) with independent split...More
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
Hotel Trastevere is a few minutes walk to buses and trams, there is also a light bus that goes to piazza garibaldi and continues to the Vatican. As for night life it's all literally just around the corner.....

We did the trip the other way around. Took the train from Civitavecchia to Trastevere and the tram from just outside the station to a short walk to the hotel. We had the hotel reserve a car for us to the airport on leaving so we were confident we would arrive in time. We each had a moderate size suitcase and are seniors, but managed fine. All the hotel staff are very helpful with any information.
