Old, very old. Dirty. Broken walls. Broken tiles. Fungus in the tub. Hair on the bathroom floor and bed. Not even remotely similar to what is advertised on the hotel page or booking.com. Even the perfect location can't compensate all downsides. Beyond disappointing.

Spent a couple of nights in this, the oldest hotel in Rome. Handily located for Campo Fiori and just a step away from lots of good restaurants this typical older hostelry is full of charm. Our twin room overlooked the street, but others have access to small terraces and the surrounding roof views. Breakfast was a straightforward continental selection with...

I regret to say not a great experience at this place. My wife and I stayed here for two nights when we visited the Eternal City to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. There were two positive aspects to our stay; the rooftop terrace where it's possible to sit in peace and read in the afternoon sun, and checking out. On...

Pretty fine hotel near by the Campo di' Fiori, just 50meters. Our room was small but the bed was good! Shower most of the time cold and hallways are noisy. Breakfast very simple, but when you're im Rome you"ll most of the time take breakfast outdoors. Overall nice hotel!

Tiny room because of additional beds. WiFi reach only first and top floor, not the middle. Breakfast below average but you can get more from nearby shops. Excellent roof terracce to have your breakfast. But the location is perfect if you are searching for sights.

If you wish a budget-accommodation in the very heart of Roma, Hotel Sole in via del Biscione, is the perfect choice. In March we a group of 26 adults on a jubilee-tour stayed there for five nights. The 60 second walk from Campo di Fiori avoids the night noise from the piazza. The hotel is located in one of the...

A tourist to Rome, depending on feet and buses, can hardly find a better location in the city's area storica. An old building (1659, built of stones from Pompeius' theater), it is within walking/bussing distance from every sight you probably would want to see. The staff is service-minded and friendly, and they do a great job, especially on cleaning and...
