Stayed for 3 nights as a couple - paid around £220. Stayed in annex room... Building was run down from the front and there is a horrible smell when you first walk in due to keeping the rubbish inside!! We literally had to hold our breath until we got up stairs. Have to go through 3 doors before you finally get in to your bedroom which was a bit annoying but I guess it was quite secure! Room was big enough for us and nice and clean. The TV was small and had one English Channel. 1/4 view of the pantheon - from bedroom 2. Perfect location - walking distance to everything. Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was okay- pretty standard but enough to fill your stomach ready for the day. Would we stay here again? Yes for the right price, but we would stay in the Hotel Abruzzi building as it looked a lot nicer and had better views of the pantheon.

Dear Guest, we are glad to hear that you would like to come back in our Hotel! The Annexe room where you stayed its very spacius and silenced and also benfits of a wonderfull view of the Pantheon! Despite the building is separate from the main Hotel, it is possible to call directly the reseption desk and enjoy all the other free available service for our guest, like the Wi-fi. We really invite you to visit us again in a soon future! Kindest Regards Claudia Front Desk

Today I tried the new breakfast offered by the Abruzzi hotel. Breakfast is served in the adjacent Piazza Capranica in an old café with tables on the square. I tasted the scrambled eggs with bacon, the excellent orange juice, the cream croissant and a cappuccino. My wife had a juice, a nice plate with ham and cheese and a fruit salad, fruit juice and yogurt with cereals. Excellent breakfast and courteous and professional staff. We will be back to try the homemade cakes!

Rome has unique monuments, delicious food, aromatic coffee, but for me it is above all - cinema and great directors. From my window in the Abruzzi Hotel I could see the monumental Pantheon, and next to it ... the place where one of the scenes of the famous movie "Roman Holidays" (William Wyler) was shot. We ate breakfast in a lovely little cafe around the corner. The room was spacious and clean and the staff very "gentile" and helpful. Can you ask for anything more? Yes, another night in Abruzzi!

My partner and I stayed in the Junior Suite in Hotel Albruzzi for 2 nights over the weekend. The staff were very good and courteous, and also spoke very good English which was a nice touch. The room itself is of a decent size, with room 502 having one room facing the pantheon and another small room having a sofa bed (we used this room to get ready/ store luggage to prevent the main room getting cluttered). The room was clean and the view was beautiful. Sound proofing was adequate, even on busy weekend evenings the only noises that could be heard were if they were exceptionally loud, so had no trouble sleeping. The hotel was in the ideal location to explore Rome - we travelled everywhere by foot with the exception of some further away locations, when we used LIME electric scooters. The square it is in (Piazza della Rotonda) had a nicer atmosphere than many we had visited, with far less beggers/ Young, African males trying to force sell bracelets etc and lots of nice restaurants. Breakfast was served at a cafe just around the corner (30 sec walk) which was OK, with a choice of 1 hot and 1 cold drink, eggs + bacon or fruit salad and a croissant (there were a few other options but I can't recall). Only 2 things about this hotel I feel are important to note - the elevator is on the 1st floor, so is not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair, and the bed and pillow were very firm. All in all, a very small price to stay somewhere beautiful in Rome. Would definitely recommend to others.
