My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and Bon Ton was a great place. The location is pretty good, we basically walked everywhere from here. All the staff were so helpful and welcoming which made us feel very good. The room we stayed in was very simple and fuss free. It had everything we needed. The room could...

Hotels in Rome can get very expensive especially during high season. If you want a clean, well-located but simple place to stay (and do not plan to spend a lot of time in your room) Bon Ton is a perfect choice. The hosts are very attentive and will make sure you have a nice stay. The only thing is that...

Absolutely loved staying here! My partner and I stayed in Rome for 4 nights and Bon Ton really made the difference. Our flight was delayed so we arrived late to the hotel, but we were still greeted very warmly and with no trouble at all! Although the room was not very big (and happened to have two single beds pushed...

Usually when you visit a strange city, accommodation will also affect your impression of this part of the city. When we first came to Rome, stay in this lovely apartment, we felt that we were super lucky! The rooms have bright lighting, clean rooms as well as toilets, you may take mineral water from refrigerator if you need, it's not...

Stayed here in July 2015! 3 days 2 nights! I was an exchange student in Bologna looking to unwind for a weekend in Rome. It was very comfortable and the quality of rest I had was remarkable. Its so good to call it a day here after a very tiring stray in the world's greatest open-air museum, Rome. I was...

Myself and two girlfriends stayed here for 4 nights in a triple room. The hotel was easy to find and is in a perfect location with Termini station being less than a ten minute walk. Some lovely restaurants nearby and the best ice cream shop, 'La Romana Roma'. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff were super friendly. We...

After a quick browse through TA I booked this hotel last minute. Location: It is a 10 minute walk from the Termini Station, which is a central hub for public transport. The walk is flat however the hotel is really off the beaten path, I was with my partner but If i was a solo traveller of with my girlfriends...

My friend and I spent 5 days at the Bon Ton Suite in August. The location is perfect, right in the city centre and close to all of the attractions. It's also very close to bus stations and the metro if you choose to use them. The owner and staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful and the rooms...

Great location, great room for an excellent price. Close to the train station and metro, the host was accommodating and friendly. The best accommodation in Italy thus far. Will definitely stay again if returning to Rome.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
