The hotel is listed as 4 star but it most certainly is not. Think of it as a substandard 3 star hotel and you will see things fit much better with your expectation. Building is old and not well kept, and they do have cockroaches and ants. Not a lot of attention to detail but staff is friendly, helpful and...

If you like beetles buzzing around in a shabby room in a poorly managed hotel, this is the place to go. Shortcomings are uncountable so I limit to refer a few: the place is beaten up with both lifts awfully squeaking and creaking; in the room I found two beetle, one alive, and after asking for a pest control and...

It's a big hotel in a nice residential area called Parioli, not far from Centre of Rome. I was with some friends and was easy to reach the centre. Breakfast is fine. Nothing great but not so bad as per some reviews

Is not a 4 stars hotel, more like 3 stars, european standard. Restaurant open only for breakfast even on their site they said is open full time, no other restaurants very close. Is located in a very quiet zone and very close to the transport facilities.

This hotel is just sufficient. it has everything not of great quality but everything is available. cost wise its fine i guess! The greatest thing about it is the bus-stop close to the hotel and the roof top view! and free wifi!

Stayed here for 4 nights very basic and don't go by 4 stars ,it's hit and miss on the stars in Rome google it . Metro near by and yes can use the 360 bus . Last train to the hotel is 10.30 ish and bus is a bit later . I would not recommend staying here and spend a...

The room was good and kept in a good way. They're opened 24/7. I found so many bad reviews on this hotel but I can't complain about that; the only "problem" I had was that they didn't allow my girlfriend to follow me in my room just for a few hours, but they explained they couldn't let her go for...

The sign in the room "no responsibility taken for items left in the room" should have been a sign.Under no circumstances leave anything of value in the room. The restaurant is understaffed - I felt sorry for their workload. The place is in dire need of a makeover.

Grand Hotel Hermitage has very limited amenities to offer, but with the price that it is asking for a stay, this hotel is one of the Best in Value hotels. Breakfast is the same everyday for 8 days. The internet connection speed is average. The beds are on the average side. Room was clean. The staff were courteous and helpful and...

Situated in Rome's attractive Parioli district (easy to reach using the 360 bus from Termini), this was a very pleasant hotel to stay in. Friendly and helpful staff (Amjed and the other hard-working reception staff deserve a mention), nice clean rooms with daily maid service (unusual for me to find a hotel where they replace the towels and bedding so...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
