This is a quiet, nice hotel with helpful staff. Our shower head didn't work, but we had a wand. The location was ok for us, as we only had one day where we went down to the main tourist locations (Colosseum area) and we took...More
A very nice, central Hotel in Rome, rooms basic but adequate for my needs. Breakfast from 7:30am, buffet, very substantial and staff very helpful and friendly. I had a very enjoyable stay here. Very convenient for the Vatican and tourist sites.
This is in walking distance of everything between the Vatican and the Colosseum so that's a big plus. However there is a noticeable sewage type smell from the bathroom and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor which may be the cause or it...More
Positives: the hotel arranged our door-to-door transfer from the airport (met in the arrivals hall). The staff are very reserved but pleasant. The hotel is in a quiet area about 10 minutes walk from St Peter's Square. 10 mins walk to the Ponte Cavour over...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

Did not notice any smoking in the hotel, but there was a very, very strong odor of smoke in the rooms. At the very least, the wallpaper, and curtains have absorbed the smoke smell to the point that a complete renovation would be required to eliminate it. We enjoyed the hotel otherwise, but if you have a strong allergy, I would book elsewhere.
