Our stay at Hotel Arcangelo, Via Boezio 15, Rome, 00192 did not get off to a great start but certainly improved during the time we spent there. Initially the guy on reception was not very friendly or helpful but we saw a warmer side to him during our stay. Parking is a slight challenge as the car park is actually...

The man working jn the evening said it was possible as our rooms were still available. The next morning the new man at reception informed us we...

I have to be honest, I travel quite a bit but I have never experienced anything like the behaviour of this hotel. I booked and prepaid for a hotel room with Hotel Arcangelo and just a short time before I was due to arrive in Rome I was informed by the hotel via email that due to an error on...

Everything was good except the hairdryer which if you have more than 2 hairs to dry you would spend your entire stay in the bathroom! Seriously they need updating fast!! Also there is a need for a magnifying mirror for shaving and make up.The mini bar in the room, we cannot understand why it is so difficult to restock the...

The rooms are clean and comfy. The hotel is on a wonderful street in a great location. Close to Vatican, good restaurants and shopping. The free breakfast offers hot and cold items. Plenty of items for everyone. The most charming aspect of this hotel is Alfonso at the desk. He is a wonderful, caring man and will help you anyway...

We recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. On arrival we were met with a wonderful welcome from Gino who was very friendly and informative. He suggested great places to eat which we highly recommend (Rafs restaurant). The decor was charming and characterful. Spotlessly clean. Roof top terrace was great although to note - no restaurant in hotel and...

This hotel is literally a 10 minute walk from the Vatican. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered plenty of choice. Our room itself was quaint and spotlessly clean.

Excellent location and a wonderful place to stay . Near the Vatican museum and St. Peter's Basilica. Room was clean and staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed there for 4 nights . Despite being near some main attractions the hotel itself is situated on a quiet street. I will highly recommend this hotel as it...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
