HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

The location is excellent. Only a few minutes walk from the railway station which is also the dropping off point for airport shuttle buses. A metro stop is close by. Major attractions are within easy walking distance & there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel's exterior is traditional and it is modern & very tastefully decorated inside....

Rome was one of our stops on this European package tour and included is Hotel Ariston. All I can say is the staff on the front desk exceeds exellence. ADRIANA was so helpful in helping us re book our cancelled flight to Spain. She was so patient and so accommodating with our needs. The free breakfast was a great addition...

I booked for my partners surprise 30th birthday. Well looked after by the staff who helped to make our time in Rome perfect. They really looked after us. Breakfast was lovely and we were close to the station. 10 minute walk to the colosseum great location. Would love to stay again.

Reaching the hotel at 11.30am mid-week, we were greeted pleasantly by the staff and were provided light refereshment whilst checking in. A bit disappointed that, despite our booking form clearly stating we had paid for an executive room, we were initially led to a basic room. However, they were very obliging and quickly changed our room, not once but twice....

We stayed here as a couple for 5 days in February 2017. Firstly, a mention to the staff here. They are excellent. Everyone was so very helpful and there was nothing too big or small for them. We didn't find a single person that wasn't excellently polite, well mannered or thoughtful to our needs. Secondly, the breakfast was excellent. A...

Great base for exploring the city by foot, excellent location for transport links. Room was lovely, only comment would be they could do with a few hooks on the wall for hanging coats etc, also the bathroom door didn't completely shut but otherwise no issues! Breakfast was generous and staff were helpful.

Was looking forward to staying in the hotel after reading previous reviews and was not disappointed. Front desk staff were very welcoming at all times, at check in we were offered a selection of beverages, fruit and pastries (which were always available in the lobby) whilst we waited for the 10 minutes it took - nice touch and very welcome...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
