I was part of a group of 7 ladies spending 3 nights in Rome. We loved everything about this hotel. Lovely quiet rooms with comfortable beds, good bathrooms and all mod cons. The continental breakfast which is included was excellent. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Everything was within walking distance and we walked ..a lot...

Excellent hotel! I was here for a short break with my daughter for 4days. The staff are so friendly. They went out of their way to make our holiday extra special. The hotel is clean, has everything you need. We found it within walking distance to everything which if you can manage is really worth it because we seen some...

Comfortably located close to Termini railway station, walking distance from main historical sights (10 min walk from Trevi Fountain, 30 min walk from Colosseum). Moderate breakfasts (it would be great if you add some vegetables to it). Very friendly and sympathetic staff - that's what really makes this hotel a perfect place to stay in.

We stayed for four nights in room 205 which is spacious and looks onto the road. We slept with the window open as the road is quiet at night. The shower was really powerful. Breakfast was ok - the cakes and pastries are ridiculously sweet and quite dry and the scrambled eggs are so salty they're inedible. For me, a...

This small hotel is well situated for a quiet stay whilst visiting the main sights of Rome. Although it is further out of the centre than many other hotels, it is still only about 15 mins walk from the Spanish Steps and is more peaceful than the noisy centre. The bedrooms are a decent size with shutters, blackouts and heavy...

My daughter, son and law and I booked rooms at the Bailey's Hotel while staying in Rome. We arrived before we could check into our rooms so they were good to keep our luggage while we went out. The service was great but the rooms were dark and the window looked out on to this inclosed fire escape with stairs....

4th visit to Rome, and this hotel is definately the only one I would return to - and this is after staying at the De Russie, Baglioni and Starhotel Metropole - lucky enough for two of those to be all expenses paid on business. But to be honest, this hotel is clean, attractive, free wifi everywhere, big rooms (this is...

We booked through A BA offer and our room was a double economy room (403). Beautifully clean and tidy, very, very small which was exaggerated by the wallpaper! Little light of offer as the window opens into a stairwell. Be careful not to leave it open in the mornings as the hotel cleaner enjoys a cigarette on the escape stairwell....

Travelled here on a BA city break which cost £155GBP per person for 3 nights including flights, so it was a really good deal and I wasn't expecting much. Check-in for 3 x 2 people was mildly chaotic and took ages. The lift was very slow and couldn't handle more than 3 people. The room (a superior one) was basic...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
