We booked one of the newly refurbished rooms, very tastefully done with lovely fabrics/furnishings. Huge bed and very good bathroom, free wifi etc. Our room looked out over the road but it is was very quiet. Our son (teenager) was in a single room at the back, a bit basic but ok for him. All the staff were just lovely...

Very good hotel, good position for walking distance to sights, yet in a quieter part. Breakfast was good. Staff helpful and pleasant. Rooms small but clean, we had a room facing the courtyard so very quiet. We did also walk with our suitcases to Termini station for train down to port as we were off on a cruise. Mind that...

We stayed at Rainieri for a total of 5 nites. 1st 4 nites and another 1 nite after our trip back from florence. Corner Room for 1st 4 nites was of good size but the room on our returning nite was tiny , hardly any room to pack our luggages. We actually requested for the same room on our return...

Location, services and hygiene are important issues when travelling with kids. Thanks to super-friendly and professional staff our vacation was just perfect. They treated us like a royal family. Special thanks to the lady at reception who gave us brilliant ideas which places to visit. Hotel Ranieri was just perfect for us. WE´LL BE BACK!

Close to train station and major sights ( trevi fountain and the spanish steps) once you familiarize yourself with the area. There are two metro stations quite close by too. The rooms were comfortable and the the bathroom was a decent size. however the furnishings were a bit dated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, a great selection...

We had a nice stay at the Hotel Ranieri. Wifi was good and the room was fine. We booked it primarily for it's location as being just a little outside the busy spots in Roma, but still within easy walking/bus distance of the major attractions and the Termini. A big bonus is that around the corner and one street back...

We stayed at the hotel in the end of March. The rooms are small, but clean. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is very good - eggs, ham, cheese, sweets, yogurt, etc. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the Republic's square and 10 minutes from Termini. The bus station to the Pantheon, Piaca Navona and the Vatican is 30...

My recent trip to Rome was my first to Italy and generally I loved it. Hotel Ranieri was very hospitable before the visit in arranging a taxi from the airport to the hotel for me and my friend which we thought was expensive at €55 but probably worth it due to the time we were arriving which was already quite...

A clean pleasent hotel with exceptionally friendly helpful staff. For example when we wanted to book a restaurant a little out of town, Mr.Ranieri himself booked us the table and the taxi so as to make the experience stress free. The hotel is a SHORT walk from the Railway and Bus Station, approximately 10 minutes, where a number of the...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
