A correct hotel in a very good location. Dont expect nothing more than a room and simpathy. If you want to be in the streets to know the city, this is your place. Dont be afraid of your first impressions of the building.

Very nice and safe hotel to stay at, perfect location only 15 min walk from the colosseum! Friendly staff. Nice big clean and tidy rooms too, only problem was it's classed as a B and B and didn't get told about the breakfast options

This is the best budget hotel I have ever been. Large room and bed, brand new bathroom, very helpful receptionist and good location (10 minutes by foot from Termini and 15 minutes to Coloseum). I like the neighborhood: big park and a lot of fast-food restaurants (cheap but good) which are open till the midnight or 1 AM. Finally, it...

Nice and clean place to stay. Not expensive and not far from the coliseum. Not far from metro. Excellent bargain. Rooms are comfortable with 24h service. Some cheap place to eat around and not far from Rome termini station.

Booked through Hotwire and were pleasantly surprised to get a three star experience at what Hotwire deemed one star : - This hotel is located on the second floor of a residential building - Both the room and the bathroom were a decent size, clean and well maintained. - Rooms are air conditioned which was definitely a big plus given...

We were very happy with our stay here and actually pleasantly suprised. We booked last minute through booking.com and it was within our price range. The place looks newly renovated, the bathroom is very modern. Excellent price for central Rome, metro station 2-4 minute walk away, only one stop away from the main metro station Termini. Or you can walk...

The hotel is located two blocks away from the Termini and in front of a Metro station, a nice location to see Rome on foot. The staff was friendly, but our room was way too dirty - there was dust over the furniture and the TV. Also, they didn't offer any double beds, only single beds (and when I asked...

In the beginning, the entrance looks weird, but don't stop! Ring the bell and go upstairs. A nice room waits for you. The hotel is located quite close (you can walk) to Colosseum and Termini Station Rooms are nice and clean, with private bathroom. The elevator is slow...so better use the stairs.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
