I found this hotel when I asked for a recommendation from the hotel locator service at the airport. They suggested we take a van to the Virgilio, which was not necessary, as the hotel is only a 15 minute walk from the Termini Station. The...More
No flights, no trains, no coaches, no rental cars, a long queue for whatever hotels were available and the cash machines ran out of money! This chaos was rather surprising given that the closure of airspace was in it’s fourth day.

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
Does this hotel have laundry services? It indicates so on the information but wanted to confirm if self service or not. Thank you

The hotel is only small so don't think they have any self service laundry on site. We didn't stay long enough to need any laundry done. I suggest you email the hotel, they are very friendly and helpful.
