We stayed in this B&B for 10 days for vacation. This place is nicely located near via Ottavia which leads to Vatican (5 min). The metro station is also near. You can find many inexpensive pizzerias, caffè and restaurants on this street and on the parallel ones. The manager Antonio did his best to make our staying as comfortable as...

I cannot speak highly enough of this BB - great location - 5 minutes from the Vatican (perfect to beat the rush of tourists and secure an early place in those queues) and then right on the Metro for the centre or better still a very easy and beautiful walk into Rome either via St Peters Square and the Castle...

Antonio was very nice and helpful. We checked in late because our flight was delayed but he was very accommodating. The place is comfortable and safe (with keys) It is also very convenient if you're visiting the Vatican for a very important celebration like a canonization or early mass at the Vatican. It is near the metro as well. Their...

Ten minutes walk from the Vatican, five minutes from the Metro and an hour in total from the airport. (Train to Termini and metro to Vatican city) restaurants and shops within sight of the doorstep. Large rooms, good double glazing makes sure no street noise keeps you awake, very good breakfast, very friendly owner, nothing is too much trouble.

Brilliant place to stay for a couple of nights on a city break, very close to the Vatican City. Lovely modern room with good facilities. Nice breakfast with a helpful host. Although great for the Vatican it is a bit of a walk from the rest of the big attractions, make sure you don't miss the last metro ☺

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights in March. As our flight wasn't arriving until about 4pm we were going to miss the check in time and so requested a late check in. The manager, who was extremely helpful and obliging throughout our stay, responded directly arranging the late check in and including directions for transport to the...

We had a lovely room with our own bathroom across the hall, very spacious and clean. The breakfast is continental but plenty to choose from. Our daughter lives and works in Rome but was a distance away from us, however the B n B is really near to the Metro station so she came and met us every day. The...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

“If you're not bothered about sharing a bathroom book the room with the outside bathroom, its a little cheaper and we didn't even end up sharing, it was just outside the room. We ended up staying in an en suite for 3 of our 5 nights as it was available for no extra charge anyway, which was nice of Antonio.”
