We stayed in Rome for four nights: this was a lovely bread and breakfast style hotel right at the Pantheon which meant we could walk to everything. Staff was so helpful. Rooms are a bit small, but everything was clean and comfortable. Staff members were ALL wonderful, helpful; and completely organized down to making recommendations, getting help and going completely...

Excellent location. Especially helpful staff. A single room is minimal for its price range in Rome. Adequate breakfasts for the price range. Room make up service needed a little push. Still, overall, I've been there three time in the last three years and probably would return.

Lovely classical Hotel, stepping into history with modern conveniences. Excellent location, easy walking distance to all attractions. Like a lot of hotels in Europe it is a mission as you can't drive down the lane. You need to be prepared to walk with your bags. A nice cool complimentary drink on arrival would be nice.

The Hotel Pantheon location was perfect, literally right next to the Pantheon, a short walt to Piazza Navona and Trevi Fountain. The hotel staff was very friendly, the rooms very clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.

As above location is the.key ,To have a comfortable hotel near to every Roman historical site is a major advantage .within 1 minute of the bustling Pantheon you have your own quiet hotel. I stayed at the hotel about 20 years ago and its facilities have been excellently upgraded .

The Hotel Pantheon location is literally right next to the Pantheon and centrally located for all Rome activities. It was a short walking distance to the bus stop. The hotel staff was very friendly, the rooms very clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. We would highly recommend.

Best location in Rome. The roons were renovated, but the Tuve was elaking Water all over the flor.Hopefully fixed until the next guests. The personal. Staff was nice and helpful. I think the price was a little too high for the standard but the location of the hotel forgive a little.

Hotel Pantheon is conveniently located next to the Pantheon and very close to Piazza Narvona. The hotel is quite small and each room s is different. The breakfast was delecious and I would recommend this hotel .

You cannot find a more magical location. Steps from the pantheon, and on mysterious cobblestone streets. From the second our cab pulled up I loved this place. Typical Italian decorations made us really feel like we were in Rome! Loved the central location and all the friendly staff. The coffee Americano served at breakfast was the best we had on...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Pantheon is located in an elegant eighteenth-century building in the heart of Rome, just a short walk from the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona, in peaceful surroundings, characteristic of an old pedestrian street. The interior of this small but luxurious Rome hotel is well-cared for down to the finest detail, embellished with special, unique details such as the Liberty-style staircase in wrought iron, the wooden-clad walls, the ceilings with old wooden beams, the Roman terracotta floors, the artistic windows and the trompe-l'oeils decorations on the hall walls. The breakfast room is a charming place, thanks to the light of the Carrara marble and the dome ceiling painted with sky-colored trompe-l'oeil. Intimate and friendly, the Hotel Pantheon offers a relaxing stay for its guests, also thinking of their well-being with their range of high quality, personalized services such as ticket booking for shows and exhibitions, guided tours of Rome and the surrounding area, suggestions on itineraries and places that must be seen and the plentiful hot or cold buffet breakfast. ... more   less

“We were given room 401 (lifts go up to floor 3 so a few steps to negotiate to access the annex part of this hotel. ) which accommodated the sofa bed for the 3rd person in the space with a window. The 2 twin beds was in linked but closed space with no windows so if you are a bit claustraphobic request a room where you can see a window. The TV is bolted onto the wall of this closed space which we did not turn on (no English channels and if the TV speaker arial in the other space accidentally touched the steel tray which supported the kettle etc the speakers made a loud buzzing noise). Shower is a sit down plastic spa affair which is a bit fiddly with the plastic knobs coming loose when adjusting. The seat takes up space so if you are of a larger size and you don't want to sit when showering you will not get in; think size of economy airplane toilet. Cannot comment if other rooms are better but the doors on the left of lifts where adorned with pictures whereas the doors to the right did not.”
