We chose this hotel based on it's proximity to Termini Station (3 min walk) and were glad we did. My wife and I arrived a couple of hours before the rest of our tour group and were tired after travelling all day. The hotel desk staff directed us to their wonderful shaded courtyard and sent one of their staff to...

The location of this hotel is excellent being close to the train station and attractions. In actual fact this is the real advantage of this hotel. Staff are very helpful with Roman at the front desk being excellent. Breakfast was of a sound standard with excellent coffee made on request. Overall the hotel is of some age however they mostly...

How lucky we were to choose this hotel. With a variety of hotels in Rome it was difficult to decide but this one was perfectly located by Termini allowing easy access to anywhere in the city. The room was clean & presentable. We stayed for a week and room service tidied the room everyday providing fresh towels etc. Being our...

We picked the Royal Court as it looked like a good base for our four day, three night trip to the Eternal City, primarily as we planned to take the train (Leonardo Express - excellent and well worth the extra over the bus transfer) direct from the airport to Termini, the main railway station. It is indeed a very easy...

We have just spent 4 days there having researched many other Rome hotels, and were delighted. We decided a day before to opt for their transport from the airport which Roman quickly organised. Remi and his colleagues were attentive and friendly whilst Ruby at the front desk was a mine of information, getting our boarding passes as well. We chose...

We had one night in a family room - 1 double and 2 single beds. Staff were very welcoming. Very comfortable beds. About 400 metres from the Termini station and quiet. We didn't opt for the hotel breakfast which seemed quite expensive. In the evening we ate at the pizza restaurant / café nearby that sells pizza by weight.

It was our first vacation in Italy. The hotel we choose was Royal Court. To say it was super and awesome as like to say nothing. The hotel' location is very convenient. Booked this as a last minute break, spending four nights here in April. The hotel is incredibly convenient - a very short walk from Rome's main Termini Station (which has a half hourly non-stop service from Fiumincino international airport). Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
