This as a fantastic hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly, the room was welcoming and well decorated with a comfortable bed and great air conditioning. The bath room was clean and stylish. Location was very close to the central rail station, so very handy when first arriving to Rome. There were a few good bars around the hotel, would recommend...

We stayed here for five nights in August 2015 and were very impressed with the service we received. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the termini station and also in walking distance of main attractions. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, providing a map of the city and highlighting some good restaurants in the area. Overall was...

My wife and I booked this hotel after reading mostly good reviews. Its a very good hotel. Nice breakfast with excellent scrambled egg. Staff very friendly especially the lady on duty in the evenings. But location is the best part. Five minute walk from Termini Station where the two Rome tube lines cross and far enough away from the main...

Pros - close to the Termini which is good if you want to use the metro, Staff are friendly, breakfast has a good selection. A beautiful hotel situated to the Termini station, an ideal location due to the fact there are two train lines in Rome, with an intersection there. It is also great for busses to airports and trains to airports as well as other transport links. Accidentally, I think we found a great place to stay. There are many local amenities and...

Hotel Royal Court is not just another hotel close to Termini. It's got everything you expect in a 4 star hotel. Comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs, individual A/C, conveniently located. What makes this hotel stand apart from the rest is it's constant customer service. "Yes sir" and "No problem" are the phrases you'll hear most often. Another thing...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
