The hotel was in a fantastic location with the trevi fountains and the pantheon minutes walk away.
At night it is cut off and you have to ask a security guard who is guarding the parliament building if you can pass.

Really great older style hotel. Like all hotels in the old part of a European city, the rooms are comfy, power points are few, bathrooms are small. The terrace breakfast is perfect, the staff ever helpful. Love it. Location is perfect, half way between Tevi...More
The hotel is located in a great position for the key attractions in Rome. Trevi fountain and Pantheon within 10 minutes walk of the hotel with Colosseum a few minutes further. We also walked to Vatican in less than 30 minutes. Hotel is comfortable without...More

Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
