Centrally located for visiting Vatican, hop on/hop off bus, Castell Sant Angello, and main Rome sites. Range of breakfast choices from the buffet, e.g. cold cuts, continental, cereal etc. Location is the main reason for staying at this hotel as there are no services apart from the accommodation. Helpful staff and airport shuttle service available to book. Decor looking a...

We are here for three days two nights and the stay is well below our usual accommodations. The "mini bar" is just a mini fridge that isnt even chilled with one cup in it. Not even a bottle of water in it. The shower is significantly small, not ideal for larger individuals. Also our shower head was not working right,...

The location of this hotel is superb - an easy 10 minute stroll to St Peter's Square and the Basilica. The Metro is 2 minutes away and there is easy access to all the sights. Lovely old building which the hotel shares with some lovely centrally located apartments. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable - the only negative was...

This is an unusual little hotel suite of rooms within a residential building. Very near to the Vatican and Ottovania metro station. On arrival, I was told that my booking through a third party had been cancelled and the hotel not only still gave us a room for the same number of nights, but for the same price quoted for...

What's not to like when all your requests are immediately fulfilled?Hotel located close to the Vatican and St Peter's Basilica. An old Palazzo with kind of suites.Very close to Ottaviano metro station and very close to many shops, mini markets, gelaterias, bars, restaurants, pizzerias and pasticherias. Was given a single room as a solo traveller. Room was fine except for the...

We only were able to stay one night but the staff was so very friendly and spoke good English. They stored our luggage until our room was ready and brought the luggage up to the room. We were able to check in earlier than the 2pm check in time (Thank you!). We were able to walk to the Vatican several...

This is a hotel property close to the Vatican area. Lots of restaurants stores etc nearby. Good area to stay in, fun area to stay in. The hotel itself hasn't much to offer per amenities. No pool etc., probably not a great kids place. You get a very clean and nice room, good service, adequate breakfast included. Fun, funky elevator...

Not in the greatest area. Small rooms even for Italy. Staff do not speak English. It's a very rundown property. Should not have booked this hotel. Black mold in the bathrooms. Ended up not taking the room and moved to a better hotel. Never again.

Thank you for leaving us feedback about your stay. We are sorry to hear about the issues you had while staying with us. You did not let us the time to find a better solution for you. Regarding the photos, fully reflect reality. The photographer has added more artificial light but the rooms with exterior views are still very bright....

We spent 17 nights at the hotel. It is perfectly located between Vatican City and Ottaviano Metro Station for those who would like to venture by train around or away from Rome like we did.The family room we were allocated was good and well kept. The bed was comfortable, spacious and clean. Admittedly, as the days went by, breakfast got...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
