We stayed at the Cicerone for one night on business. The rooms were spacious enough with a queen size bed and full wardrobe. The bathroom was also a goid size and clean. I believe it was renovated not long ago. Breakfast was good for Italy. Lots of cakes, meats and fruits. The location is great in the middle of everything....

This is a well-located, average hotel. It feels like it's stuck in the 1980s and there's not much to it other than small bedrooms, an ok restaurant and a tiny bar. BUT if you're just looking for somewhere to lay your head, then this place is ok. It's clean and right next to the Vatican but don't choose it if...

We stayed two nights for rugby weekend. Hotel was in great place, very clean, good breakfast, great value. We'll be back in two years time. You can get SIT bus directly from airport, drives past the door and stops 400 meters away. Cheapest and quickest way to get there.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The staff provided maps and gave us directions to areas of interest. Rooms were clean and the restaurant had the best pizza! Grocery store and some of the main sites were within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.

Above average. The room was good and clean. The bathroom needs more attention from managment. Ours had a broken toilet seat which is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was good with a variety of food. Good locaton close to piazza Navona.

My Wife & I have just returned from a little break in Rome, The hotel Cicerone was ideally placed for the Vatican. Breakfast was of the continental variety which was half decent. The staff were attentive and always polite. Our one gripe would be the room (616) we stayed in was very very hot despite turning the air-con off. Rooms...

This hotel is just beautiful! We were staying 2 days in Rome and we couldn't have picked a better one (thank you, Trivago for the cheap deal!). The location is great... literally not far to walk to reach Piazza Cavour, The Castel San't Angelo and the Vatican. The entrance and staff were both really welcoming. The service is wonderful, the...

Decent room compared to the paid price. Three metro station away by bus; but it was our fault that we have not studied the offer and map. Helped us to maintain optimal costs, the fact that we had close to the hotel a local supermarket and a restaurant with the best pizza ever. Clean room, decent for 3 adults, but...

Hotel lobby is inviting. Service is good on the first floor, as is wifi connect. I was the six floor...weak or no wi fi. Rooms needs updating. Bath fixtures from the 60's wallpaper torn and soiled. Beds were comfortable, water pressure excellent and plenty of hot water. Breakfast buffet was standard European fare. Coffee machines ran out of coffee every...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
