Two blocks from major shopping, bus stop literally across the street, restaurants galore, walking distance from most major historical sites, Hotel Cicerone is a reasonably priced gem.
We went with a group of people and found that room sizes were dramatically different. Our room, 302,...More
While the Cicerone is fairly close to shopping and events it does not seem to me to deserve a four star rating. This is a fairly old hotel and it does show. Slow clunky elevators and thin walls including thumping late night footsteps overhead and...More
Stayed here during a brief trip to Rome with a large group. Interestingly, we stayed here with another group 10 years ago. This time was better than we remembered. Seems they've done quite a few improvements. Although, it's not a top notch hotel, it's sufficient...More
Spent 4 nights, really enjoy it.Nice and clean room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent location, Vatican is just about 10 minutes of walking, maybe less. Also the Colosseo is not far away. Hope to come back again.
Great hotel with English speaking staff which is helpful for anyone who is visiting! The bar area was clean and accommodating to our large tour group. The breakfast buffet was good and had something for Everyone! The rooms were clean!

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
