From the moment we arrived until our departure, the staff was lovely, helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, nice and our balcony with the view over the terrace was a real joy. The breakfast buffet is a typical italian breakfast buffet, with boiled eggs, toasts, pastry, coffee or tea and som fruits, alla you need. The location is perfect,...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. Were very satisfied with the level of service, breakfast, cleanliness of rooms and more importantly location. Was within walking distance to the center of Rome or you could take a bus from outside which were very frequent. Would return to this hotel if I came back to Rome.

The hotel is beutifully furnished and very chic, the bedrooms are tastfully decorated with lovely bedding and the rooms provide sky TV, mini bar, the en-suite bathrooms are very clean with very modern bathroom fittings and hair dryer. The breakfast room is lovely and the hotel provides a continental breakfast with a vast selection of foods, excellent way to start...

Our family had four rooms for two nights in July. All rooms, located in a backyard/sidewing, were nice and clean. However, one of the rooms smelled 'cellar', probably due to moisture problems. Apart from that, we have only nice things to say about the hotel: excellent service, good English speaking staff, quiet rooms even though the Nomentana avenue passing by...

We had never been to Rome before and finding this wonderful place was simply pot luck. We flew to Ciampino and took the free shuttle to Termini, the main railway station. The taxi from Termini to the hotel was 10 euro, and we were a little concerned when the driver had never heard of the hotel, but he put the...

Ten minutes by Bus to the centre of Rome. Half hour walk to all sites. Lovely neighbourhood with nice family restaurants nearby and a good selection for breakfast. Made Rome even more enjoyable then it always is.

I took my (Italian) husband to Rome for his 50th birthday as he had never been there before. I found the hotel to be ideal for our purposes, in that the closest tube station was not too far away and only 3 stops from the Colosseum, for example. I felt the room-rate I managed to get was good value for...

We stayed in Hotel Villa Florence for 2 days and found the service excellent. Breakfast was quite nice with fresh coffees made on request by an attentive waiter. The overall charm of the building is warming. Our room was elegant with cosy balconies. Bit of a walk to Termini Station(`20 min walk), a subway or bus trip is recommended

I question the reliability of the property review on the Hotel Villa Florence. I can not believe that anyone could find the accomodations at this hotel acceptable! It is evident that this hotel has not been maintained. We stayed in room 101. The carpet leading up the stairs was filthy, there were water stains on the rugs on the first...

We (2 couples) found this a pleasant, comfortable hotel with staff who wished to please. The hotel is located by the Porta Pia, by the walls of Rome. Yes, the centre is probably a 20 - 30 minute walk, but there is a regular bus service within 5 minutes of the hotel. At time of writing a day ticket costs...
