Very good location for all main attractions. Short walk to Vatican, 30 min walk to Colosseum. Helpful staff. Rooms are a good size but showing there age...fixtures and fittings need some t.l.c. good continental breakfast.

Close to the piazza Cavour and shuttle bus from the airport... ideal for the Vatican and within 20-30 min walk from all major sites. Clean comfortable and very friendly with a great continental breakfast included we would recommend and will stay here again next time in Rome.

I can't speak to the value of the hotel because we booked through a company (avvenutre bellisime- which I LOVED!) But Hotel Diplomatic was a nice room and the front desk staff was very helpful. The location was perfect- we were able to access just about anywhere within a 20-25 minute walking radius. The room was small, but this is...

We stayed here for three night. The rooms were clean, basic bit all you need when you aren't spending a huge amount of time there. Shower was nice and hot. Beds were quite firm. Had to ask for an extra pillow but it was provided with no fuss. The breakfast is of course Continental including pastries, toast, cheese, ham, yoghurts,...

First, the staff here was amazing! The overnight desk attendant that checked us in was a well of knowledge about the city. He made fantastic suggestions for off the beaten path restaurants etc. and gave directions when we got lost. Also, I had a bit of a cold/sinus problem while we were there and he had hot tea brought to...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
